Two-color mold injection molding is a mold in which two kinds of plastic materials are injected on the same injection molding machine, molded in two times, and the product is only molded once. Generally, this kind of molding process is also called double-material injection molding, which is usually completed by two sets of molds, and requires a special two-color injection molding machine.

Injection Moulded Plastic is a plastic material processed by the injection molding process, which heats the plastic particles to a molten state, injects them into a precision mold under high pressure, and solidifies them into the desired shape after cooling. Common injection molded plastics include polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyethylene (PE), nylon (PA), etc.

High precision
The injection molding machine can inject molten plastic material into the mold through precise temperature, pressure and speed control, ensuring that the size and shape of each molded part are exactly the same as the design requirements. It is very suitable for manufacturing high-precision products such as electronic housings, automotive parts, etc.
Save raw materials
During the injection molding process, plastic particles are accurately measured and injected into the mold. By accurately controlling the parameters of the mold and the injection molding machine, excessive material waste is avoided. In addition, the excess plastic in the injection molding process can be recycled through an automated recycling system, re-melted and reused, reducing the waste of raw materials.
Good physical properties
The plastic is quickly cooled after high-pressure injection in the mold. During the cooling process, the molecular structure of the material is fully arranged, so that the molded parts have good tensile, impact and compression resistance. In addition, many plastic materials improve their mechanical properties by adding reinforcing materials (such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, etc.) during the injection molding process.
Smooth surface
The surface of the mold is finely polished to reduce the friction between the plastic and the mold, making the surface of the molded parts smoother and more uniform.
