Our Product
Die castings are manufactured using a high-pressure injection method that allows molten metal to flow into every detail of the mold. This allows parts to be manufactured with high precision. Die-cast parts also have a smooth surface finish that eliminates the need for additional finishing processes such as grinding or polishing. Molds can be customized to produce parts of any shape or size, allowing manufacturers to create unique and complex designs.
Feature
Die cast parts are known for their exceptional strength. They can withstand high levels of stress and pressure, making them ideal for applications where strength and durability are critical.
Die cast parts have a smooth surface finish that can be further improved through various finishing techniques such as polishing, polishing, or electroplating.
Compared with traditional manufacturing methods, die casting can produce more identical parts, and has a large number of automated production processes, resulting in high production efficiency.
The surface coating treatment of die castings has good anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties.
Manufacturing process
1. Our materials are processed at high temperatures until melted;
2. Clean and lubricate both halves of the mold before closing the mold;
3. Prepare the casting mold with two steel molds, process the steel molds into the required shape and clamp them together through the die-casting machine;
4. Molten aluminum is then injected into the mold cavity under high pressure, allowing it to solidify.
5. The process of transferring molten metal to the die casting chamber before injection depends on whether a cold chamber die casting machine or a hot chamber die casting machine is used;
6. Allow the hot casting to cool and solidify. The molten metal fills the mold cavity and forms the shape required by the mold design.
Commonly used materials
Aluminum
Aluminum is widely used in die-casting processes due to its low-cost properties. Die-cast aluminum is lightweight and environmentally friendly, and has good dimensional stability.
Zinc
Zinc die casting is a versatile production method ideal for products requiring increased strength and ductility, high precision, tight tolerances and excellent thermal properties.
Copper
Almost anything made of copper is durable. Additionally, copper has high corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in the production of components for the plumbing and electrical industries.
Magnesium
Magnesium is the ideal metal for die casting when thin-walled structures and high precision are required. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is lightweight, making it widely used in the aerospace industry.

Surface treatment type
Oxidation treatment
Oxidation treatment is a common surface treatment method for die castings to increase surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Electroplating treatment
A layer of metal coating can be formed on the surface of die castings through electroplating, chemical plating and other methods to increase surface hardness and aesthetics.
Spraying treatment
A protective layer can be formed on the surface of die castings by spray painting to improve the surface's anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties.
Cutting process
When there are defects, burrs, bubbles, etc. on the surface, they can be removed mechanically or chemically to ensure surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is aluminum suitable for die casting?
A: Yes, aluminum has high electrical and thermal conductivity and is resistant to corrosion. Its low density and good mechanical and thermal properties make it a good alloy for die casting.
Q: How strong is die-cast aluminum?
A: Die-cast aluminum, while not as strong as steel castings, is very strong and durable compared to sand, magnesium or zinc castings.
Q: Can steel be die cast?
A: Yes. However, it is a ferrous metal and contains iron, so it is not resistant to corrosion and is therefore not preferred.
Q: What are the disadvantages of die casting?
A: Die-casting is only suitable for high-volume production due to high equipment costs; secondly, changing part designs is time-consuming and expensive, so it is worth prototyping the part before proceeding with die-casting.
Q: What is the hot pressing process of die castings?
A: The hot pressing process is sometimes called the hot mold process. In this process, the plunger and chamber of the injection mechanism are immersed in a bath of molten metal in a metal furnace and used with low-melting point metals that will not chemically attack the immersed plunger assembly.
Q: What is the annealing treatment of die castings?
A: The process of heating the die casting to usually around 300°C, holding it for some time, and then cooling it to room temperature in the furnace is called annealing.
Q: Why use die castings?
A: Die castings are characterized by high dimensional accuracy and can mass produce thin-walled products with complex shapes.
Q: Why are die castings so expensive?
A: As a manufacturer, what I can tell you is that due to the nature of die casting, molds are subject to extremely harsh operating conditions during normal use.
Q: Can die castings prevent rust?
A: Aluminum, zinc, and magnesium is common metal materials used for die-cast metal parts. While every metal type is resistant to corrosion, there are different levels of rust resistance.
Q: Is the surface finish of the die casting good?
A: Die cast parts are characterized by very good surface finish and dimensional capacity. Parts produced using the die casting process generally have thinner walls and smoother walls than parts produced using the sand casting process.
